Our ranch name, LONE WOLF RANCH, has been in the family for over 100 years.
Lee was raised by his Grandfather, Lee Case, in Sutherland Nebraska on the LONE WOLF RANCH.
His grandfather was a rancher & raised rodeo stock & was a fantastic horse trainer and horsemen.  He also rode in all the parades dressed as Buffalo Bill & we still have the costume that he wore.
He even rode in a Parade in Atlantic City as Buffalo Bill.
I keep trying to get Lee to wear the costume, complete with leather fringe coat, hat, gloves, side burns, & goatee, to some Longhorn Event, but so far he hasn't.  Having been raised around rodeos & rodeo stock, It is no wonder that Lee spent most of his younger years competing in Rodeos in bareback & bull riding and other events in Nebraska and across the nation.  In 1999, after 20 years of raising longhorns, we started adding the initials LWR to the cattle we registered.
Now you know where the ranch name LONE WOLF RANCH
& the initials LWR came from.
